Default Nvr switch on 3hp dust extractor

    Hi All,

I'm looking for advice re if it is possible to make an NVR switch stay ON, please.
The switch is in an outside shed, and the machine is turned ON/OFF from inside my workshop.

    This is my switch.
I have thought about something like this but wouldn't consider without detailed guidance.
TOGGLE SWT -SHORT LEVER TYPE - Carbatec

    Thanks in advance
    Keith

The safest way to do this is to get a sparky to install a non volt switch
The next safest way is to zip tie the "on" button down.
You may have to loosen the switch housing from the DC to get Zip tie around the back of the switch housing and also pack something under the zip tie to apply enough force to hold it on.

There are other much neater/tidier and ultimately safer ways - the best being moving the existing NVR switch inside the shed but I'll leave it to someone else to explain and hence bear the blame if something goes wrong.

    Thanks Bob,
I had to save hard for the D/E, didn't realise it had a NVR switch, so hoping to get it going without spending too much more.
As I will be well away from the machine when it starts I will try your "next safest way".
And I won't blame anyone if something goes wrong; I appreciate your advice.
    cheers
    Keith
