Yep a dive is in order, soon. Packing is going steadily, move is a little further away from the workshop but not much, then at some point we will move to the ranch with the big supa workshop where TH I will both have our workshops.

This is the desk/bench to go with the Cedar wardrobe. Aust Red Cedar, 3.6m long to be fastened to the walls. Also two book shelves to go on top at each end. Rounded bull nose edge to match the old robe.
Looks an interesting piece of work. How are you going to finish it? Stain? Polish?

    Hi Big W
No stain, just a coat of Shellac to seal and tuffen then a couple of coats of Cabots floor seal should do the trick. I will then install the desk before starting on the two book shelves.

Hum now lets see Christos what is it your missing here or is it me. Your not married which should mean a shed and tools is your main source of pleasure.

We married blokes seem to have more shed time, while your doing house work, worrying about cooking dinner, washing ironing. While we have cups of tea/coffee cake brought out to sustain us and keep us out in the shed.

    CH
was wondering where you'd got to

Like that mirror well fixed up

and I've often wondered why that particular style wardrobe had the two side 'doors' firmly fixed in place. (they make good wine cabinets btw)
