Oh What A Feeling!
For the first time in 13 years I used a good ol hand plane and oh, it felt good!
Was using a belt sander and then thought to check the planes that I'd recently bought (2 in process of honing) - the #7 was sharp and good to go.
Desperately need a proper workbench!

And here I was thinking I was the only one who got off on slicing translucent shavings with a razor sharp well tuned plane. What have you been doing for 13 years mate? That's a serious jointer you have there.
