Oh Lucky Day!
I don't know where my head was today, but I'm glad I made it through with my body fully intact! I'm a very safety conscious guy... breathing equipment, dust control, goggles or head shield etc., but today was something else...
First as I was lowering my miter saw for a cut, the feed stick I was holding the small piece of wood to cut, slipped and my lowest knuckle on my left index finger glanced the blade taking off a peanut sized slice which luckily was only the surface. Bled a bit, but is sore more than anything. A sticking plaster from the first aid kit soon sorted that out.
Secondly (and this has never happened to me before), I switched the late on whilst holding the chuck in my right hand! I usually switch on the DC unit, then the lathe... Again I was lucky that I did not have too firm a grip and apart from a bit of a shock I was fine.
Thirdly I poured CA down the front of my T-Shirt! Luckily the 'patch' was only about 3-4" and I was able to whip it off before it stuck to me... got my thumb on my left hand well and truly coated, and was threatening to stick to my T-Shirt as I pulled it off, but again - luckily that didn't happen.
After that the rest of the day was uneventful... Phew!

Could have been a little nasty there
You might have used up you're supply of luck and need to give it a chance to build back-up a bit.
I'd take tomorrow off if I was you. Go read a book or something!Dragonfly

We can smile, but really you could have been maimed for life. Glad to hear you are okay.
I was in the habit of getting home from work as fast as I could on Friday afternoons to get in an hour or so of shed time. Since I was able to get away a bit earlier on Fridays this seemed a good way to start the weekend. But by Friday afternoon my mind is gone and a get very tired. I found I was just too tired to do this safely. I cut my hand ever so slightly with a chisel under circumstances that I would never normally allow to occur and took it as a warning to go inside, have a cup of tea and watch Judge Judy instead.
What surprises me is that commercial wood workers do not have more accidents. I have worked in joineries where the wearing of eye protection was virtually unknown and to this day many cabinet makers regularly do not use eye protection. My age is still less than my number of posts

All this in one day is a little too much. Might be a sign to take a break and come back the next day.

I would be very careful in wasting Instant glue, by the sound of it you will some time in the future needing it to stick on any future missing fingers next time you use that saw.
