Where online can I get a 'Record/Irwin' corner clamp?
Not being terribly familiar with online tool places, I was wondering where online I might be able to buy one of these Record/Irwin corner clamps? I already have one I got from Mitre 10 a few years back (the local now says they don't stock it and can't, or wont more like, get it in). I've used it a couple of times and love it, but more than one would be handier.
Also, is there any advantage to the 'welders angle clamps' that seem to be a different designe with only a single 'bolt' to tighten down a single central clamper?
The one in the pic is a 140 size (similar would do).
Thanks.
PS.Copyright of the photo remains with the guy off ebay I stole it off.

I bought a few of these last year at Bunnings, they are still around. Also try AllTools and TotalTools.

Some bunnings have them, most hardware shores have them and Carbatec in Auburn has them for sure.

cheap clamps
You can also try supercheap auto. They always seem to have a good range of cheap clamps, including a couple kinds of corner ones.

Thanks guys, will have a look around.
Groggy, my Bunnings only has humungous ones.
Forgot how expensive these good ones were. But well worth it, they'll last 5 life times.

Have a look at the Bessy mitre clamps & their Chaiwanese knockoffs while you are Carbatec.

Thanks.
Is the Carbatec store in Auburn (Sydney) worth a trip just to browse (drool ) or is it just a little place with a limited supply on the shelves?

It is always worth a trip to CarbaTec.
They usually have plenty of clamps available. Give them a call first.Visit my website at www.myFineWoodWork.com

I'd suggest getting the kind with a slot to admit a saw for refinement of the mitres. Clamp the imperfect pieces, and use the saw to get perfect mitres. Here's what they look like:

For more, Google [corner clamp slot].
