Just on the glue gun, make sure you either buy lots of glue sticks or that the sticks are of common size that you can get elsewhere.

Glue Gun looks similar to the Ozito GGC-015. Can't seem to find it on the Bunnings site but I definitely saw it on shelves of my local the other day. I'm sure I paid at least $20 if not $30 for it some months ago. Ozito spec says 11.2mm glue sticks, I bought a pack of standard size 11mm sticks and they worked fine. Aldi model is also standard 11mm sticks.
If it's similar in specification then the Ozito model quotes "Can be removed from stand functioning up to 6 minutes before needing to be returned for reheating." Which sounds about right. When I used it I kept putting it back on the stand when I needed both my hands to arrange the work piece and never noticed it lacking in heat.
Bargain at $15, grab one.Michael
