    Default Outdoor Kitchen Cabinets

    Hello I am in the process of getting some quotes done for outdoor kitchens. I have been quoted on Wetline board with Melamine finish. And also on Amerind Versaboard. Is one better than the other. Because Versaboard is half the price of Wetline.

    Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.

    Can't comment on either product as I have no experience with them, but the Wetline product is from Cowdrey, and I have worked on quite a few outdoor kitchens in their Nema board and they have been in use for four years without issues.
    I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

    Hi,

    i have made made many outdoor kitchens and the amerind board is ok. From memory you just have to laminate the doors in the colour you want or paint them. If laminating make sure both sides are done to prevent cupping. Are you using a stone top?

    First of all thanks for the replies. Yes I am definitely using the Stone Top. Only the carcass is made out of Amerind board. The doors I am using arer Acrylic with Aluminium frame from a distributor in Melbourne and they give 10 yrs warranty I think for those doors and look really good and are specially made for outdoor kitchens.

    Also Is there much difference between the two products (wetline vs Versa) ?????
