Small outdoor shelter (first project)
G'day all, first question to the forum so go easy
I want to construct a shelter over my pool equipment. Rough dimensions are 180h x 100l x 180w.
The challenge is fitting it against the fence line (corner) and over the various underground pipes.
The plan would be to construct a basic firewood style shelter, resting the feet on bricks. Angled roof to place a roof sheet on top.
Initial questions are on size and type of wood. I'm thinking treated pine (h4) but unsure how big or small is needed to manage the weight?
Given the tight space on the fence line I was going to construct the fence facing sides first and then hook on the remaining sides. Is this a thing? Girder or joist brackets?
Any tips much appreciated.
I don't have many tools or large transporter.
