    Default Oval veneer coffee table

First experience with veneering I hope it stays put. Top is made of edgebanded and veneered plywood, All the wood except for the plywood top core was made from Pecan and Pecan burl from the same log. I think this one has too many curves and I over done the carving I'm happy with the construction it's very solid but I'm not happy with the way it looks. I should have went with a clear gloss finish but instead I mixed up a toner - oh well it is what it is...

    Thanks

    Excellent job Jeff,

Wouldn't be to hard on yourself, first go at veneering you say.

Better that a lot I have seen that profess to have done quite a bit with the thin stuff.

    Job well done.

    Cheers

Jeff that shows the excellence of your woodworking skills. It is beautifully crafted.

May not be to everyone's taste, but so what, you didn't make it for everyone.

Jeff, that is beautiful. Well done.

Pecan always has such a nice, soft feel to the eyes.

Beautiful job Jeff, I'd be extremely happy with that. Makes my WIP (hall table) look pretty plain and ordinary.

    Well done
