How did you determine the final shape of the curved legs?- Wood Borer

Many thanks for the very kind compliments, my friends.
To answer a few questions:
The Jarrah laminations were glued with Titebond III. This produced about 1/2" of springback.
The shape of the legs developed through drawings and a few experiments with MDF.
The tenons were pinned as a preventative measure.
(and the number of images shown were just about half of the ones I could have posted - think about what you have been spared! )

Derek
lovely tables
so how many tool reviews will come out of this project??
the sincerest form of flattery — would you mind if I made a copy of your table for my own use?

Thanks Derek. The reason I asked about the glue is because of something I heard about yellow glue in this application. I admit to never having done any bent lams but I watched David Marks do a few on TV (www.djmarks.com) and he uses a urea glue.

He said that yellow glue never fully cures and will allow the laminations to "creep" over time. Do you have any thoughts or experience with this?

Derek
What beautiful tables!
I really appreciate the step-by-step explanation and pictures. Now I'm feeling a little more confident to attempt some tapered legs I've been putting off. Husband just asked me the other day when I'm going to finish "his" table. Now maybe this weekend.

Nicely done DC. Hierloom indeed. I wished that I had a spokeshave when I did the bed legs. I have an LV LA one on the way now. Look forward to the review.
