I've seen her work and it's terriffic. Maybe you should turn a pair of knitting needles and give her a hand! (still pulling your leg).

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

The Missus (whoops, try "My better looking half) likes coming to wood shows, and I like going to quilt shows with her.
Only problem is when I go anywhere there is material I start yawning..."I'm just alergic to fabric dear, honest - but I really like being here - I'll just put up with my debilitating allergy just to keep you happy...dear..(yawn)... the things we do..

MBGitW does not go to the show with me, we have our separate interests and it gives us more to talk about at night.

Left at home
My partner would be bored witless with the Wood show, and then you get"can we go now? Haven't you seen everything?"
When my father (former cabinet maker) was alive I took him a few times and he enjoyed it, but now I go alone. Also, there is no one to nag me when I get chips for lunch!

My partner would be bored out of her brain. She does support my interest though, even supplying cash for purchases. "Go buy yourself something I'd find boring." Can't argue with that!

They can come as long as they don't cramp your style, cramp your spending and don't end up like children going "can we go now? you've already looked at that twice!"

SWMBO asks, "When is your next woodworking show?"
Translation - "When are you going to the next AWFS convention in LasVegas?"
She wouldn't be caught dead on the show floor.
