what's a plaque ?...is it one of hose things you hang on the wall...

Hello All

Wondering if anyone knows about any Plaque manufacturer or other source in Australia. I need SOLID Plain Plaque in different sizes i.e. unfinished -ready to be Carved or Printing etc.. in Walnut, Cherry, Alder and other fine woods. NO MDF

Not big volume. Need these as and when required. Can not keep stock... Doesn't matter if it's Aussie or American ....Solid or veneered....should only be nice and plain ... as simple rectangle, routed edges etc...

Please suggest something..

Apologies to Australians ----for ignorance --but what is MDF ?
MDF forests ? --love to be enlightened--still learning all 600 +---species of Eucalypts you have ---nice red hard wood!!

MDF = medium density fiber board -- think of it as compressed saw dust and glue -- sometimes referred to as "termite barf"

i.e. it's not real wood
