Advice to all woodworkers, experienced and novice alike
Sash clamps are heavy and they hurt when you drop them on your little toe.

Grunt, I have to wear steel caps when I go into the garage now . . . too many times I have dropped heavy items on ones thong clad feet! Welcome to the club , a very inclusive club, I'll bet that everyone on this board is a member

You can buy little chicky size 5 steel caps in a variety of fashonable styles. You just need to know where to look.
Try "blue healer boots" at west end.Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Done that plenty of times myself. If you make a habit of it, either buy steel capped boots or normal oversized ones and pad it with straw... ?

I don't have steel caps. Spent all my money on machinery and sash clamps and glue! Have to get a bit more out of my beaten up pair of runners
