Please assist with identity and age of this unique planning machine.
This is a very unique machine that I have just restored. It does not have any identifying tags of any sort.

That's a nice piece of cast iron machinery you have there. What on earth is the large curved front section ? Is it for planing the concave sides of curves ? And in the last picture, the slot in both tables ? Plus the long trench on the left in the last? It does look very unique!
Ill take a guess and say its either for ship building or a Coopers machine.
You will have better luck with an ID in this section of the forum .
