    Default Plywood bending in Melbourne

    Hi,

    I'm an industrial design student, building a prototype of a bedside table (my final year project). The design features a plywood frame which I would like to outsource, but although there seem to be plenty of cabinet makers, around I can't seem to find someone who can make bent plywood furniture. Can anyone help?

    do you have actual plans with dimensions? By the looks of it there would be a decent amount of work in it (formers, ply laminations, glue etc) so it wouldn't be cheap to make. I have done plenty of curved work before.
    I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

    Yes, that is precisely what it would involve, as well as CNC machining to achieve the final shape after moulding. And I am aware that it will be expensive.
    What I would like is to find a place of business that has all the equipment necessary.

    Martrix, What have you done to achieve the best results when bending ply. I have attempted to make a few small jobs with not much success, any tips.
