This has tweaked my interest. I saw some advert on Foxtel about join a jig which got me looking into pocket hike jigs. Would love to see some project pics of people using this method.

Kreg is rock solid when drilling and has hardened guides which are long enough not to allow any play. My Kreg is the original which is the plate kind with the 2 holes, I also have the single. It is essential to use the clamps as per the instructions.
Edit
Just caught part of the TV join a jig infomercial, - it is very obvious when he is drilling through the black guide that it is not only moving sideways but up and down - this should not happen with a quality jig. Looks very much like an El Cheapo Kreg knockoff but that is my opinion.Regards,
Bob

Bob, I also saw that on the ad. Someone on whirlpool forum said that he had to use extra clamps to keep the timber from moving. He also damaged one of the drill guides. Not only a cheap knock off but basically same price as the Kreg. They give screws additional but no clamp as in the Kreg master kit.
