Podcasts are great
Hi All,
After browsing around youtube a while ago, I cam accross a little clip from a guy calling himself "the wood whisperer". To cut a long story short he does a regular video podcast that you can download a view on a whole pile of different wood working issues. For a relative beginner like me it was fantastic.
I have recently discovered a few more similar podacasts from different people around the world. it would appear thats its a gold mine of nformation for those of us starting out.
So to name a few, check these ones out. Just go to the iTunes store (via iTunes) and bobs your uncle. Or alternatively google them. Some are video podcasts, some are audio only, some have plans attached etc.
1) The wood whisperer
2)Matt's basement workshop
3)rough cut show
4)Stu's shed
5)Wood Talk online
6)Woodworkersresource
7)Woodworking online
Please remember that before you go and sign up to to these you will need iTunes or a similar podcasting software. and secondly.. if you do decide to take a look there are some large video files available so depending on your interet conection it make take a fair bit of time to down load it all.
Have fun
Joe

Check out the video thread on these forums. An even greater wealth of information.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

I'd watch all those podcasts, but I just don't have the time

Here it is.
So I must wander? To find a better course of information and help?
It's a sin.Don't pass them by! Be daring and caring!
Dampen their misery....sit with them and talk a little.
Buy them something to eat and a tram fare to a local mission.
I'm so lucky that I've somewhere to live and have family support.
