It was never my intention to knock the person that proposed this idea - I think it's great - unfortunately I don't have the wherewithal to do much about it - organising hundreds of shirts with a logo is a big project and needs resources outside my resources....

Reading some responses in here would put anybody off even trying to get it off the ground.
I don't want sleeves.
I want a T-shirt, not a polo.
i want a polo, not a T-shirt.
It's not the right colour.
I don't like the logo here.
What about this...
Want a committee to design a horse ? You've got one right here.If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

I think the Major said if enough interest was shown he'd look around for some quotes. No-one expects Neil to do it - at least thats how I read the original post.

For the how about group
Neil just get some embroided pockets made and then they can sew ( or get the SHMBO to sew ) on any shirt they want , sleevest , frontlest or backlest
As for me the idea of a shirt top etc is a great idea and whatever idea you gome up with count me in for a couple
however I doubt if it will get off the ground as the majority of the " How about one in pink , no sleeves, no collar, or what ever have no idea as to the amount of work , time , etc it takes to organise the manufacture of said items
As I said I would love a shirt with the forum logo on but what ever Neil or the better half ( cause he has no taste ) decides on will be fine by me.

Ashore, that is one fine idea . Now, by any chance does anyone have an idea of a rough, back of the envelope guesstimate of a ball-park figure for what it might cost to get a patch design done and then made?
Don't take this as a guaranteed yes, I don't have that power, but I think the idea is worthwhile investigating a little more.
cheers

Im missing something. Why would we want to buy something to wear around to promote another business. A hat fair enough, but a shirt?
