Great stuff.
I tried to find out something about this coffin on the web, but didn't turn up much. Thought I must've been the only one interested.
Any chance of a bigger, more readable photo?Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Exelent article. I to tuned in to the funeral and was blown away by the simplistic beauty of the coffin, and just like Zen i tried to search for info with no luck. I must try to get a back-copy of that mag.-- Thanks for posting it Scooter

Having read the article, it's strange that the coffin maker hides in such obscurity compared to the broad publicity given to the papal taylors around the same time.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Nice try scooter. I think halftones need to me scanned in at humungous resolutions (600dpi or better), then smoothed to say 100 dpi, then jpeg compressed.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.
