Hi Paul a good deal of the repair work has been stained with a good brew of tea leaves with some vinegar added. The small repair to the leg has been ARPIA to stain due to nature of the Oak I had to resort to an oil based paint mixed with a small amount of DO.

I usually apply with a stocking filled with tea leaves and dunk back into the brew.
