    You are doing a great job Ray, I agree , the Nova should be at your place. I'm sure you could fit it in your lounge room if push comes to shove. I mean what are your visitors suppose to do if there is no lathe to congregate around.

    I agree Christos but first you need to make said Box

    Munruben You are doing a great job Ray, I agree , the Nova should be at your place. I'm sure you could fit it in your lounge room if push comes to shove. I mean what are your visitors suppose to do if there is no lathe to congregate around.
    Why not lathe in the lounge room the LOML's Loom was in there for all to see and gather around at least I'd have decent lighting, heating in winter AC summer, trouble is no bench although top of the TV cabinet could suffice.

    Default Back to it at Last

    Yes its been a while but at last my bench is clear enough to continue on with the spinning wheels.

    First up mark and drill the holes for the 8mm steel rod for the treadle not bad line up and pretty level using battery drill.

    Two parts of the treadle cut just need the front which I hope to cut tomorrow, mate up and assemble.

    Don't rush on my account Fletty it'll be still a slow WiP with any lucky I might have both wheels done by August when Fairfield Spinners have their 35th Anniversary this year.

    Pulled out a plank of Oak and have been hand planning the edges this morning. Just about to head back out and do the faces. Nice using hand tools have missed it photo's later.
