    Default Quality brass hinges

    Does anyone know where to buy quality brass hinges in Oz? I need a few pairs for a table. If no lucky I might have to order some from Lee Valley but we are talking about $200 just for hinges here.

    Wongo, what kind of hinges do you want? Butt, butlers table,90 degree stop??

    I needed one hinge for a bureau which I could have bought in Melbourne for $100+. Bought two from Wagga Restoration Center for about $20.
    They do have an online facility.

    You could give Anton Gerner Hinges a try. I've found his leaf springs to be pretty good, so I expect that the butt hinges are too.

    Thanks Alex. Anton Gerner only has small hinges for boxes. I need big ones for a table.

    Anyway, I was in the middle of ordering 3 pairs of butt hinge @ $30 per pair from Lee Valley, only to find out that it will cost another $45 deliver. $140 for 6 hinges is just too much.

    I ended up getting 3 pairs from Horton for $70 including deliver.
