Best quality butt hinges.
G'day all, can anyone give a recommendation for GOOD quality butt hinges?
I will be using them to replace existing door hinges (domestic).
No preferences for brass, anodised, stainless etc, just can't seem to source GOOD ones!
Thanks in advance.

This mightn't be any good to you, but I recently purchased 6x 100mm stainless steel butt hinges (4 screw holes) from Hardware & General, Doors Dept @ Marryong (Blacktown NSW). These were just their heavy duty general type with a removeable hinge pin but the quality and consistency between the 6 units is excellent.
You could probably have them posted (card payment)______________

Without doubt, the best quality brass butt hinges are from Brusso. When you've seen them you will know why. Unfortunately their website seems to be off the air at the moment but here is a link to another online supplier's catalogue of Brusso products.
Anton Gerner used to be the Australian reseller but there is no information on his website about this. You could try and call them.
Alternatively you can buy them from Lee Valley who are famed on this board and others for their excellent service and products. I can also personally recommend them based on my experience.
