    G'day all,

Can somebody help, I will sit for an exam soon and I need to know the answers to the following:

    1. Why is not recommended that a guard be attached to the riving knife?
    2. What are the 3 adjustments on a scribing saw blade?
    3. Name 2 types of scribing saw blades.
    4. What type of cut is done when the main blade and the mitre fence is angled?

    Thanks a lot.

A waste of resources. Riving knives do not need to be guarded, they can take care of themselves.

    2. What are the 3 adjustments on a scribing saw blade?

    1) Up 2) down 3) sideways

    3. Name 2 types of scribing saw blades.

    1) Sharp 2) dull

    4. What type of cut is done when the main blade and the mitre fence is angled?

A very complicated one that won't fit.

    Thanks a lot.
    You're welcome.
    Cheers,

    Bob
