Quick assembly
Grand daughter has requested/ordered Poppo to make furniture for her and her dolls but room is at a premium I want to make a fridge slightly bigger than bedside chest and a split oven smaller. Will only be MDF but I need it so that it can easily be pulled apart then put back together as in knockdown furniture somehow:confused: any ideas and dont mention that dopy sweedish outlet Tony

Just screw it together without glue, Tony.
About as quick & easy as it gets, short of nails.
Cheers....................Sean

I have an ikea! (oops!)
We use cam and pins in our commercial furniture. I can guess what you might be thinking, but honestly they are very good!
The cam takes a 15mm hole into the face of the board and with an 8mm hole bored into the side for the pin to penetrate into the cam; the joining panel also has an 8mm hole bored into the face that the pin sits its butt into it , or another type of pin screws into a 5mm hole bored into the face of the joining panel. The cam does as the name suggests by pulling the head of the pin via a eccentric groove cast into the body of the cam and pulls the joining panel tight against the edge of the first panel. The cam also has a seat into which the head of the pin locks into, so the join cannot come apart without a screwdriver.
It's quick and simple and bloody reliable! You should be able to pick them up from your local hardware store.
Good luck and happy building
BAZMick.

To save some money, replace the cam thingy with a piece of dowel going the MDF. Drill a clearance hole through the front & through the leading edge to the front of the dowel hole. Screw into the dowel.
SteveThe fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.
