    Default Joining shutterply boards

I have cut a trapdoor in my pine floor with the view to creating a storage space in my newly created basement. The area is about 16 sq meters. The substrate is earth which has been compacted and levelled. My plan is to lay thick waterproof plastic on the earth and then to lay 1200 by 2400 by 18mm shutter ply boards as the floor of the basement. Any ideas on how to join the boards?

I used biscuits on my ply over concrete shed floor. Going well after a few years.
