Hi Shane
I paid $545 for the Multimaster Top Kit. A bit like Festool, everything about them is pricey.
But I've found mine very useful, and so has #3 son who has used it much more than I have.
Have a look at this thread:

Hey Brian how does one know what that tradetools mob have thats not on their site? they dont seem to have a cattledog so other than local yocals who can wander in at will those of us who cant rely on what they put up on their site...
I notice "all in one mob" have it at $579... so still didnt beat the price you quote in that thread
So if I email trade tools you reckon theyd let me have one at an even more reduced price to cover the postage costs you know?Believe me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

Brian,
Another question on the bench top. I appreciate that you used glue when laminating the bench top (your photo no.2), but did you also use Dominoes?
Regards,
Mike

Hello Mike
I didn't use dominoes in any of the laminations. They were all long grain to long grain so they only needed glue. Think it was polyurethane. Also used epoxy and TitebondIII in places. Each bench used over $50 of glue.
Photo 2 is actually the laminating of the frame members. There are 3 lots of 4-board laminations clamped up here. These were then resawn and dressed to 110 x 40.Brian
