Bi folds
hey guys, I have done a search and cant find much info on what im after.
I have a rear door leading out to my deck, its an aluminium sliding door, it has 3 panels, but only the middle panel slides to one side, making the door way small, and pretty ugly.
What I was wondering was:
Can I remove the glass from the aluminium frames and create a 3 panel french door style setup made from timber using the rails top and bottom that the existing door uses, so that the 3 panels collapse into one corner, opening the door way up.
any tips/info/suggestions would be appreciated!
Cheers
Rob

It can be done, but it's not a job for the faint-hearted. Check out Centor's website to see the hardware necessary.
