    Default Rebore Tablesaw blade ?

    Hi,

    I have a 30mm arbor on my table saw and I want to fit this fret slotting blade which has a 5/8" hole -
    STEWMAC.COM : Fret Slotting Table Saw Blade

    Is there somewhere in Wollongong or Sydney that can rebore it it 30mm ?

    Any saw doctor should be able to open the arbor hole, so look around the local area for one.

    From the link, that is a 6 in saw, and 30mm arbor saws generally run fairly large blades. I know that you don't need deep cuts for frets, but check the available DOC that the blade would give in your saw.

    Default Blade Rebore

    I had a Dado Set opened up from 5/8 to 3/4 by a Saw Doctor in Seven Hills, Powers Rd.
    forgotten the name. What they did was bore the hole and then sharpen the blades about the new hole to make the teeth concentric. I now have a 25mm arbour saw so I may have to have it done again.
