Recliner Carcass Plans
G'day
Please can someone let me know where may I find Recliner chair frame (carcass) plans.
Is there a set rule of how these are made. Or are they just thown together?
I wish to make a recliner to suit my large frame. 6'9" 150 kg.
I have a rocking recliner that I have stripped to the frame... There are springs that are too complicated to start for a begginer like me.
I just want a simple frame / frames Like a Lawson, Fan Back, Wing, or Fire Side.
I want to build the frame.. For ME. I'll let the upholsterer upholster.
Please can you assist. Or point me in the right direction.
Thanking you beforehand.

You'll probably find something in here, if not exactly what you're looking for it'll be a good start;

Frustrating
I am wondering how many people put posts on forum sites that never gets an answer?
You would think that there is so much talent out there with a mirriad of possibilities and trades........that there would be someone who would be able to answer your query.
Maybe the right person does not have access to a computer, maybe they are too possesive in sharing, maybe they are'nt even a member of a forum..............
whatever the scenario, when you post many posts on many different forums and spread the seeds, so to say, your chances of being noticed and answered are increased a thousand fold.
You see people answer on the most frivilous of things to the most complexed...Every one has a good comment and many have helpfull things to say.
BUT THEY DO REPLY.
Thank you dr4gOnfly for the one and only reply. i've surfed the site before
with no luck..
i'm starting to take it personal.
Yeah right.....Maybe being Murphy has something to do with it. !!!!!!
