Default Recommendation for non-skid pad/tape for DIY track saw

What some good non-skid self-adhesive pad/tape that I can use on a DIY track saw? I've been looking on Amazon but couldn't a good one, perhaps I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you so much for the responses. The Festool 485724 is a bit expensive at $29 for 3 feet. I'll take a look at the Makita brand.

I may be wrong, but isn't the non-skid self adhesive tape simply a rubberised tape with adhesive on one side? If so, Clark Rubber should have the stuff by the roll - years ago we bought a thicker and wider type than is use on a track saw guide for a special project we did, and it came on an 8 metre roll.

Memory tells me it wasn't anywhere near as expensive per metre than the "right" type of tape from the tool manufacturers. Perhaps visit one of their stores to see?

Midnight Man is right: I actually replaced the non-slip tape on a 'proper' track with a roll of adhesive backed rubber from Bunnings... From memory, it's all in the aisle with roller door/ window seal strips etc etc… Spectacularly cheaper. In addition, it can be used as the sacrificial strip cut by the saw blade -It's a little thicker than the original.

    Hi Midnight Man
Charlielor is located in Wisconsin (USA). There may be a local Clark Rubber type store, but given that he was looking on Amazon.com I sent him links to Festool and Makita OEM products sold via Amazon.

If he (or she) is still looking, Lee Valley has a super high friction tape - Lee Valley Tools that is available in 1" x 12" strips, plus low friction tape Slippery (Low-Friction) Tape - Lee Valley Tools available in 1" x 18 ft strips for the other side.

Thanks for pointing that out Ian - a major detail I hadn't noticed!
