Not sure it fits the theme of the thread but use pallets for simple objects.MaterialA.jpgPublicity A.jpgP1050041 A.jpg

This is a great thread, Paul.

I've learnt a lot of great ideas on this one!

I recycle some of these things like the sticks and containers etc. And my dad did too.

These were given to me by my dad when they downsized a few years back. I think they're old Telecom rotary dial containers. And they're full of recycled fastenings etc.

Although thinking about the square shaped containers people have suggested here, I might look into more space efficient containers... Lol

The unlabelled ones on the top are empty.
I don't usually have to buy new screws etc. but it sure takes a while to find, say, 8 matching 1" 4G brass screws I might want to use for a project...lol

    Regards Adam

No mate after hair on hide so Colvin Rocking Horses. They haven't opened for a while. Their web says closed until May. I don't need to finish until July.

while appreciating your expertise, it must be nice to have little else on the go.
I sold our business 2 years ago, supposedly retired a year ago, , and get depressed looking at the list of things that need / want doing around the house, get so depressed I crash and dull my senses in front of this stupid computer. Then at end of week get even more frustrated cause Ive achieved so little.

Tonto, I absolutely feel your pain. The internet is a stupendous waste of time. It is best to turn the router off at the wall at 9am!

Default How is this for recycling?

I'm a hoarder, can't throw anything away so when we had a shin of beef (discounted on specials counter at s/market) for Sunday roast a few weeks ago the left over bone looked too useful to put in the bin.

So after de-greasing, bleaching, drilling, fitting some feet and a brass tube for the pegs, I now have (another) cribbage board.

That's a very unique and great looking cribbage board, Mark! I love it.

My grandfather, who I inherited a lot of old hand tools from (which got me into woodworking), taught me how to play crib as a young boy of 6 or 7. He used to play it with me every time I visited. He used to make his own boards from timber. I will always remember him teaching me to count score...15-1, 15-2, 15-3...

    Regards Adam

Great job on the crib board. Shows some dedication making it out of bone. I use bone blanks to make guitar nuts but the smell off the sander is a bit overpowering so I take the extra time to do the filing and sanding by hand.
Crib is my favourite card game.

    Shouldn't that be 15-2, 15-4, 15-6?
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Yes and don’t forget ‘one for his knob’
I’m ex RN Submarines and if I had a £ for every hour spent playing cribbage I would be a very rich man .
