red cedar slab dining table
i finished the table a couple of weeks ago and finaly got around to posting some pics.
had to beef up the rails after a little bit of slab movement, but it seems to be all good now. finish is two pack flooring poly.

how thick is that slab? looks like it will last forever.

thanks dr. dan, the slab was flattened using a 1300 wide thickness sander.

looks great although i think the corners could have been rounded to match up with the curves along the slab, seems a little abrupt the way it just stops square ,like (thats it chop it off there, thats long enough) ) thats only my opinion and i am in no way knocking it ,its still a beautifull table ....bob
