    Default Best regards from ...

My best wishes to all for the festive season!

My wife and I are travelling a little at present, and currently in a chilly Prague (hovering around -1 C with occasional very fine snow misting that evaporates before it hits the ground).

The Christmas markets are still in full steam. There was an interesting stall in Vienna with old hand tools and related fittings. Rather rusty looking ...

Of course, these are all chocolate. Amazingly realistic ...

A feast for old eyes in more ways than one

    Best wishes from Prague

That definitely looks like New Old stock, love the pile of hammers. Whilst it's very hot and humid here, I don't envy you for one minute.

    Seasons greetings, Derek, and everyone.

Couldn't resist wondering how those spanners, hammers, wheel braces and fittings compare in strength and usability with some of the "special tools" now sold by BigChain.

    Hi,
I think they would be more use at -1 than the 40 plus we are having here. You could probably be abel to drink them here.

    Hi Mat

No. There were lots of woodworking places I missed out on. We were travelling with another couple, and for the most part this restricted the choices to places we all wanted to visit. I got to some I wanted, and visited places others wanted.

    Regards from Perth
