    Thanks for the link Paul.

    One problem with those servos is that would not be strong enough on larger blast gates.
    I n fact they didn't seem to be able to open up the small ones all the way.
    So either bigger servos or air based actuators would be needed as per the post by Chris about one of the mens sheds.

    Still the automation/logic issue using arduino seems to be very useful.
