    Default Remove sticky glue residue

    Hey all,

    Anybody know how - or a product that will remove sticky glue residue from MDF so it can be primed for painting please?

    Is this the residue left when you remove sticky plastic Contact? If so, try eucalyptus oil or acetone. if it's contact adhesive from sticking down Laminex or Formica, try acetone.

    Hi Alex,
    Yes it's the glue left after laminate has been taken off. It not too too bad, but it's a little more sticky in some spots than others.

    Citrus cleaner would be my first choice, tested somewhere obscure first.
