Just so you don't think I'm not loyal or anything, I do use it on my clamps and planes and chisels.

My Silverglide is also in two parts, but it mixes together pretty well, and still works. The current tin is about three years old, and I have a third left, so running out is not going to send me broke any time soon.

But I bet they were silk smooth and free of surface rust when you'd finished
