Resawing needed - Lower BMountains
Hi everyone,
Im hoping someone has a bandsaw / big table saw or access to such. I have a couple of pieces of NG Rosewood 6" x 4" ish thick I need some 20mm strips ripped so I can laminate to make necks for Mandolins. I also would like to cut out some neck shapes from 20mm thick Meranti, better on a bandsaw than by coping saw. I dont have the money or the space for the equipment.
Can anyone help, remunerated of course,

Sebastiaan,
I am in Springwood I have a Bandsaw and 10" tablesaw. Tony beet me to the post and by looking at his box work his bandsaw is most likely to be better than mine. PM me anyhow as I have been intending getting to know some local woodworkers.
Regards
John

Hi Seb
I am just set up again after a move. I can offer b/s resaw to ~ 140mm, if you can't do better closer. Can also thickness now.
I think we need a Sydney move to emulate the Melburnians, so am interested in any such initiative. There are certainly some talented folk near me here, and would enjoy making contact.
