Default Review - Vertiacc Drill Press Accessory

Well folks, just finished the review of the Vertiacc!
    http://www.onlinetoolreviews.com/reviews/vertiacc.htm

Interesting product and certainly useful for those who do a lot of end-grain drilling.
How much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

    Default It's all relative

Looks like a good product, however surely to form a judgement we need the $RRP? I have all sorts of trouble drilling accurately into large/unusual bits of wood, and this is of interest

For $25 it's the best product in the world, for $850 its a piece of c**p.

I often wonder why vendors (and reviewers) are so coy about pricing. A gentleman takes his weight on his elbows, is kind to animals and never discusses prices??

I could see some use for this as well. Again, what it costs will influence my decision to buy one..

Dean was probably supplied the unit for free to review which would explain why he was coy, the vendor - well I can't make excuses for them

Sorry guys missed adding the price and I am adding it to the page now. No coy about anything.

George from vertiacc sells the Vertiacc for AUD$350 including GSt and postage.

    Default Looks good

Has anyone used one of these,it looks as though is will do a multitude of jobs,I see on the website the hinge drilling,it looks like it will drill stuff like melemine board. Just what I need. Price not bad either.

Anyone know if it's made in Aussi?

    Yes made in Brisbane, Australia,
And let me add that the price I mentioned above is not correct.
It is AUD$350 + postage and GST (not including postage and GST).

    Default Info pack

Well I sent away for the info pack, which includes a 7min DVD
This tool has some great features, and I should imagine it would be very accurate as it is the operater that has the control, and not the jig, unlike many other dowel jigs and such,it would be great for repetetive work, and they picked the making of 6 chairs to demonstrate.
I rang them in Brisbane, and they say that for a while, as it is a new product and they want to promote it,we could see big savings by buying now.

I think I might buy one
Get the DVD it's worth a look,

    Joseph
