Review - Wixey Digital Angle Gauge
Hi all,
Just finished a review of the Wixey Digital Angle Gauge.
http://www.onlinetoolreviews.com/rev...anglegauge.htm
Unlike the Beall Tilt Box which we reviewed earlier, this one is available in Australia from Professional Woodwork Supplies
Added a small video of the gauge in use to the review too
Hope it helps! How much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

Mate... sounds like a good option to go with the other one you reviewed recently always good to get choice and comparison so cheers for the efforts mate!
Now... I see you say it will do the table saw and jointer easily.. but mate will it do a bandysaw?... And most importantly of all... will it do the 15in thicknesser? blades? rollers? top and bottom infeed and outfeed?... a man just needs to know these things
Cheers again mate!! Well done

Yep will do a bandsaw no problem. Just make sure the blade is tensioned sufficiently so the gauge doesn't deflect it when attached etc. It will give you a fairly close estimate anyway. As for thicknesser. Not sure I see the benefit of using this over a good set of blade setting guides/jigs?? The blade setting jigs would be easier to use I suspect.
You can also use these things on radial arms saws, portable circular saws etc.How much wood could the woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck could chuck wood?

Great piece of gear - although I reckon that it reads tilt rather than angle (Meaning the angle from the fence of say a mitre saw), now if we could get something to do that as well - it would make those compound mitres a doddle.
Still! I must have one.

I got mine at the woodwork show, It works well and the BS, joiner, bandsaw which was set by a square spot on. I haven't used it for BS angles yet. While typing this I thought of the drill press, must check it too.
