sanding discs for linisher machine
A mate sold me a linishing machine fitted to an old Compton motor, with a 1200mm x 50mm belt linisher and 300mm disc sander on the side. Got some belts OK but I can't find sanding discs to fit disc sander, any suggestions? Also what do you stick the discs on with if and when I get some?

He should also have the belts, what speed does the motor run at , should be on the plate , and is it geared down with pulley's ??
Too high a speed , the discs & belts will wear faster and burn the timber, I know it sounds funny , what i am saying, but Aluminium Oxide will break down faster at high speed , because it will actually shatter the grains of abrasive,.
Lower speed is better for the timber and abrasive.
