Sanding discs for face plate sander/disc sander
G'day,
I'm about to get started on building my own face plate sander and before I start I'm trying to find how large a disc I can make.
I'm looking hopefully for sand paper or sanding discs of 200-250mm diameter or greater. Can anyone point in in the right direction to a supplier, if possible somewhere in the Eastern suburbs? I've just checked out Bunnies and no surprise they don't carry what I want.
A website would probably be of most help, otherwise whatever you can.

Herless Machinery in Clayton sell 300mm discs of sandpaper in various grits both the stick on and the velcro backed and stick on velcro disk for it.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping of something that size. One face plate sander with a 300mm face coming up.
