Sanding Inside A Circle
I am making a stand for a 5 string banjo from solid mahogany. In each half of the stand I have cut six holes ranging in diamater from 25mm to 62mm, partly to reduce weight and partly as a decorative feature. I am trying to find the best way to sand the inside of the holes. (See photo for example).
I'm afraid to use sanding drums in a power drill for fear of over doing it and getting the holes out of true.
I'm sure that somewhere in the past I've seen a tool for doing this job but I don't know what it's called. The tool I'm thinking of consists of a central shank in which strips of sandpaper are mounted radially. A power drill can be used to spin the shank and attached sandpaper inside the hole. I've done a lot of Googling but can't find anything. Any advice on how I should go about this would be much appreciated.
BTW. I have very limited resources. Kitchen table, power drill, jig saw and elbow grease is about all I have to work with. I am also a rank amateur
