Default Know where you can buy Kaindl sanding disks ?

Fear that you can't buy them anymore.

Their a sanding disk tool that attaches to a power drill. Got a flexible joint on it and takes velcro sandpaper disks.

German made. Green. Like one with a curved sole.

Want a couple more for work. And wouldn't mind one at home.

    Ta.

I saw that. But its in German. Can't read it, and being in Germany, thinking costly shipping. Hoping for a dealer hereabouts.

Click the pommy flag on the right side, near the bottom, and you get the English version.

    Hi Apricotripper

I bought a Kaindl flexible drive drill attachment 10 or 15 years ago and still use it from time to time.

I last bought a supply of sanding discs from their stand at the Sydney WWW Show about 6 or 7 years ago.

On the order sheet they gave me which is still with the sanding discs I bought, their address was Kaindl Consolidated Australia, 6 Rustic Court, Highbury, SA 5089 (PO Box 39, Highbury SA 5089). Highbury is a suburb of Adelaide.

Their telephone No was (08) 265 1432. Adelaide phone Nos now have 8 digits and I think if they still are trading, their No would be 08 8265 1432.

I did a Google search and found that Highbury Painting Service operates from 6 Rustic Court in Highbury, SA - telephone No 08 8263 7964 Mobile 0417 840 311.

Maybe by phoning Highbury Painting Services you might be able to find out whether Kaindl products are still sold in Australia.

    Good luck

Yep E is for Euro and €21.90 will be around AUD$36.50 (before postage/packing).

The old order form I have shows that in the late 1990s they sold for $35.00.

thanks kindly for all the help.

Gave that number a ring Rob. no answer. Suspecting that there's no dealer for them in Australia any more.

    Looked at the website
They make some interesting stuff (I can hear SWMBO whispering in my ear - "you don't need new shiny things" )
