My most satisfying project to date is the coffee keepsake table here:

It was the first piece I designed in sketchup and that I was reasonably happy with the design.
The box comp project was pretty satisfying too.
Cheers

Well - this thread seems to have stirred a few responses in the spirit I was looking for. Those who felt their work wasn't up to some of the fancier pieces should take heart that everyone starts SOMEWHERE. The idea was to show what had given you the most satisfaction, not necessarily the most impressive thing. Overcoming difficulties as in my chairs is often very satisfying when it eventually works out, but it doesn't even have to be difficult, just something that, for whatever reason, you found satisfying. It's pretty satisfying when your first project comes out good enough to live with, for e.g.! I guess the prize for the most poignant story has to go to Sturdee - good on ya - I reckon as long as I can crawl back to the shed, life will be ok too.....
Cheers,IW
