Spacky,
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate:rolleyes: , Morriset MMMMMMMate:o , did ya get that name from the institution:D .
I have a SCM C35, 350mm Planer/Thicknesser see the post I have just made on the Incra thread. I wander down to N'castle on an irregular basis, I have a manual for the C35, nothing in it of use though (it does show how to slide 830kg of saw down a plank off the back of a truck though):oo: :oo: :oo: :oo: :o :o :o  I need a "dead" smiley.
If you need any assistance with, set up/parts, PM me.
James
Just scanned the information manual for SCM Mini 30 and C35 (same manual), 17 pages with diagrams, probably not as useless as I first thaught! It has scanned in .opd file extension from scansoft omnipage software:no:, can't attach this format to the forum:doh:, I'll see what I can come up with or just post you a copy.
It would be good to post for all though.
Scanned SCM Mini30/C35 manual in pdf, it looks good, but the full manual came up to 1KB and I can only post 100mb on the forum. I will email it if anyone wants a copy.
Just to wet your apetite-a diagram of how to unload a 830kg saw off the back of a truck:oo:.
Ah, finally escaped from the institution:U , took a while but i can finally reply again.
I would be really interested in getting a copy of that manual. I will PM you with my e-mail address.
I know how heavy the dam table is. It took 5 blokes to lift it onto a trailer (well lever it on). It took 2 of us about an half and hour with 10 sticks of 4x2 with a similar setup to the diagram. :o Needless to say, the table doesn't move much from where it is.
Hi stringy
any chance of emailing me the scm mini 30 manual.
thanks Peter

Hi All, I realize that this discussion is a little old, but hey who knows you still maybe there... I recently bought a mini30 in above average condition here in NZ. I've had it running pretty well, that is the planer, thicknesser, spindle molder, table saw but am yet to use the mortiser. I've had trouble finding an appropriate collet I'm about ready to try with a newly found one.
Can anyone help me with the following...The machine comes with a stone that fits on the spindle moulder for sharpening the planer knives. The motors are single phase. I understand that the sharpening should be done at around 3500 revs. My molder runs, I think at 7000. I wondering if it is supposed to be a two speed motor. The switch has only one position but on start up the motor seems to take two steps to get up to speed, it is not a smooth acceleration like planer motor. Maybe previous owner changed the switch? Perhaps some electronics missing? I can't ask previous owner because it came from deceased estate. Can anyone suggest anything?
I have been able to access a couple of docs for the machine. Please find attached. "Instructions for use" and "Spare Parts Catalogue"
cheers, Taxi
hey guys! i know this post is quite old but im in the process of moving house and i have a l'invincible mini 30 1971(immaculate condition). at the moment, she is running on a single phase but i also have the original 3 phase motors for her. also in excellent condition. all attachments are 'as new', the saw-table sliding arm runs smoothly, the mortice and tenon attachment, blade sharpening attachment are all in perfect condition. i was wondering if anyone out there knows how much she would be worth. (and i am considering selling her at some stage soon too!) any feed back would be much appreciated!

- my mini30 is a 3 phase unit with a dual 3500/7000 speed spindle. I'd be cautious spinning a grinding wheel at 7000rpm...the wheel is probaly not rated for this sort of speed!
Would you mind emailing the instructions and spare parts doc's? My address is [email protected]

- I paid $750 for my 3 phase unit in average condition with the same accessories you have. I would think you could get double that if it's single phase (not many back yarders have 3 phase) and in extra good nick
Cheers
