Default Part sheets of 12mm pine ply

I'm an old member of WWF, now in a retirement village with a mens shed. We get lots of donated scrap wood , but out last donation is about 200 part sheets of 12 mm Pine Ply 1200mm x 500mm. Looking for ideas of what we can make out of it to sell or give away. Hope some one will come up with a good Idea. nine fingers

I saw a good idea the other day that suits I think. I’ll try for a picture later unless someone beats me to it.
It’s a bread cutting board for cutting slices off a loaf if it’s not already sliced. Say 10 and 14 mm. Two sizes of bread can be cut with a knife by gluing three 10 mm sticks glued around in a U shape on three sides. One one Side of a 250 x 200 ply board . And three sticks the same on the other side at 14 mm . Hold the bread on its end to the board and use the bread knife on its side resting on the sticks while cutting through.

    Here’s one from YT

I reckon from that size sheet you could make some great storage cabinets and drawers. 12mm ply could be used all around I think.
Could be a good seller if you are looking for that.
(that bread slicer is a good idea as well)

A local men’s shed here in Sydney makes possum homes from ply.
Bird houses would also be a possibility to replace all the old trees being cut down.

Google bird nesting boxes for some ideas, they sell well. You might even be able to do a deal selling them through some of the bird shops or list on Gumtree

The local Hume Mens' Shed make and sell nesting boxes from 12mm ply. They also make a 13 piece Nativity set for Christmas.

I was going to add their email etc but probably better that you 'google' them for contacts - less chance of spamming. They might be able to let you have patterns or at least tell you where they got theirs.
