    shelf support opposite of french cleat?

    needing to make removable shelves from a panel The panel would be made from 12mm sq metal tube (stop any warping...it could be out in different weather. and covered in pegboard.

    I hope this explains it better but maybe I am making it too complicated, It will NOT carry heavy weight.

    You could use the extrusion and bracket the shopfitters use that they rout into a panel
    It would be easier to do

    Elan Jacobs has noted the type of product I was referring to, you can also just get the channel extrusion and fit it to whatever substrate takes your fancy
