My shop (reasonably) tidy at last!
G'Day All,
Just thought it about time I put up a few pics of my workshop, not that it is top of the range, but it's mine and I'm happy in it. The bench is the first woodwork one I've made, as you can see it's a few years old. The wood lathe I made my self of my own design and a bit of trial and error, but it works fine for small jobs and learning on. The metal lathe is only a few months old and will be used to make a few improvements to the wood lathe. Most of my power tools are fairly new as the old one's went kaput one after the other, I know they are not the "good" ones but I'm still learning to use some of them, that's why I'm a member here!....Well, I just thought I'd show you that I am serious about my hobby and not just a smart a$$, to all who have helped me in the past, I thank you all!...

I was one of the messiest woodworkers I know and the only time my shed was really decent was when I took a weeks holiday and spent every day for 9 days going around from one corner to another , its a big shed 100 square meters and I had been collecting junk in it for 13 years . Boy did I throw out some good stuff ( that I was saving for fixing later , might come in usefull one day ,might need that one day ) 2 ute loads , should have had a garage sale really .
Kept it pretty good since though .
Looks good Eric .

Savage,
I don't know how bad your shed was, but it likley was not as bad as mine.
I am hoping to correct that problem fairly soon but there will be no photo's taken of the inside of my shed untill I do. I aspire to be a woodworker with a clean shed.
good on ya mate.
steveThe fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.

Looks like you have got it sorted very well. Good to see another woodworker venturing into the metal.
Cheers,
Rod
