Default Simple box for Veritas router plane

This simple box is made from 1/2' MDF, glued and tack nailed.

The lid is perspex that is marginally thinner than my sawblade, making slot cutting a very simple process. The handle on the lid is superglued in place. Very quick to make and the lid means I can find the right tool in the cupboard amongst other similar boxes. Instructions and warranty sit under the plane.

I'll drop in a small silica gel pack tomorrow just for giggles. The Allen keys sit in holes drilled in the divider so they won't be easily lost. A liesurely 2 hours while doing other things. Finished with some left over Minwax wipe on poly.

Very handy plane. I use it quite often, even in conjunction with electric routers. It is more controllable for taking the final smidge off the bottom of a groove.
